Short-term, high-availability HR support for organisations dealing with complex employee relations issues, organisational change, restructuring or temporary gaps in HR capacity.


I provide concentrated HR support for businesses that need a high level of input and continuity over a defined period. This is designed for situations where standard ad hoc support is not enough and a business needs practical, senior-level guidance across the week.

Some situations need more than occasional advice. When a business is dealing with complex casework, change activity, multiple live issues or a temporary HR gap, fragmented support can slow decisions down and increase risk.

Weekly Intensive HR Support is designed to give organisations focused, time-bound support with continuity across the week. My advice is grounded in CIPD best practice, the ACAS Code and UK employment law, with a focus on fair, defensible and proportionate outcomes.

What Support Can Include

The weekly intensive offer is defined as a focused support package and includes:

Up to 5 days or 35 hours of HR support within the agreed week.

  • Priority availability during standard working hours.
  • Onsite and/or remote support, with travel time included within the rate for support within 50 miles of Heywood.
  • Support across high-risk and complex matters, including employee relations casework.
  • Drafting, preparation, meetings, follow-up and management guidance.
  • Continuity of advice across the week to support consistency and defensibility.

This structure gives employers a more joined-up way of managing a demanding period, rather than relying on isolated pieces of advice at separate points in the process.

What This Service Is For

This service is for organisations that need a high level of HR availability over a short period. The pricing materials position it for intensive weeks involving complex employee relations matters, organisational change, restructuring or temporary cover during business-critical situations.


It is particularly useful where there are several moving parts, live deadlines, multiple stakeholders or a need for consistent advice across meetings, drafting, follow-up and management decisions.

My background includes operating at HR Business Partner level, supporting complex employee relations matters, change processes, policy reviews and manager capability in operational environments. That experience means I can work in a way that is commercially aware, practical and suited to fast-moving business situations.

I aim to bring structure, pace and sound judgement to weeks where the HR workload is heavier, more sensitive or more business-critical than usual.

What To Expect

Before work starts, I confirm the scope, timescales and fee arrangement in writing. The weekly support option is time-limited, clearly scoped and intended to provide concentrated support during the agreed week rather than ongoing or exclusive provision.

The pricing documents state that weekly support does not roll over automatically, out-of-hours support is excluded unless agreed separately, and tribunal advocacy or external legal representation are not included. Additional weeks can be agreed separately where ongoing support is required.
